Hennings Tigers Eye/Ink layers warm bronze and tobacco-brown strokes over deep ink-blue and charcoal, creating a densely rippled surface. The fine, fluid-looking cloth is particularly suited to full-length drapery where its close tonal variation can be seen across a larger drop.

About this fabric

The compact looping motif has a softly organic, almost feathered rhythm, with bronze highlights catching between dark blue-black outlines and smoky brown ground tones. At 93 gsm, with 104 threads per cm, the cloth has a fine handle and is best considered for lighter window treatments rather than hard-wearing upholstery. Its usable width is 142 cm, while the design repeats every 27 cm vertically and 23.5 cm horizontally, keeping the small-scale pattern continuous across curtains or blinds. The Tigers Eye/Ink palette reads deep and atmospheric overall, but the warmer metallic-brown notes prevent it from appearing flat or purely cool.

How to use it

Frame tall windows with this dark bronze-and-ink colourway against charcoal walls, walnut timber or aged brass, using the pattern’s fine scale to add depth without a large graphic interruption.

Use this richly shaded colourway for atmospheric curtains, blinds or soft room-darkening layers alongside dark timber and aged brass.
