About this fabric

This colourway reads as a deep tiger-eye blend of golden mustard, ochre and softened taupe, rather than a bright yellow. Fine horizontal and vertical surface variation catches the light gently, adding depth to the broad stripe effect without creating a strong sheen. The fabric has a 142 cm usable width and weighs 180 gsm, making it a light, fluid choice for window treatments. Its pattern repeat is 71 cm horizontally with no vertical repeat, while the 372 threads per cm specification reflects the closely constructed weave.

How to use it

Use Siddal Tigers Eye for curtains or blinds where its warm ochre tone can echo aged brass, walnut and earthy neutral furnishings. The taupe bands also make it easy to layer with stone, mushroom and tobacco shades.

A warm golden-ochre stripe with taupe depth, particularly effective as full-length curtains or relaxed Roman blinds.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Siddal Tigers Eye without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
