Zephyr Plain Prussian Blue

Zephyr Plains FabricZOF0144-19

Zephyr Plain Prussian Blue is a deep, cool-toned textile with a near-even blue field and a softly textured woven surface. Its dark Prussian shade reads as saturated but restrained, with the weave preventing the colour from appearing flat.

About this fabric

This plain fabric has no visible motif, reflected in its 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats. At 700 gsm and 93 threads per cm, it has a substantial, closely woven character that is well suited to upholstery. The 148 cm useable width supports efficient cutting across larger upholstered forms, while the 25 m standard length is practical for a coordinated project. Fine tonal variation across the surface catches the light subtly, shifting the Prussian blue between inky depth and cooler teal-blue highlights.

How to use it

Use it on a tailored armchair, sofa or dining seat where the deep blue can act as a strong, grounded colour block. Balance its cool, saturated tone with pale stone, tobacco leather, warm oak or brushed brass.

A dense, dark blue plain weave that brings tailored depth to upholstery and pairs well with warm timber or aged brass.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
