About this fabric

This Zoffany fabric has an uninterrupted plain face in a deep raspberry red, sitting between vivid berry and muted wine depending on how the light falls. At 700 gsm and 148 cm usable width, it has the substantial visual presence of an upholstery cloth. The 93 threads-per-cm construction creates a fine, even surface texture without a visible motif, reflected in the 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats. Its standard length is 25 m, making the continuous plain particularly effective where the colour itself is intended to define the piece.
