About this fabric

The woven design is built from broad sandstone bands, slim russet stripes and quieter pale lines, creating a measured vertical rhythm across the swatch. Russet reads as a muted terracotta-brown here, adding depth without overpowering the light, sandy ground. With a 330 gsm weight, 150 cm usable width and Outdoor performance specification, it is suited to hard-working upholstered applications. The stripe has a 24 cm horizontal repeat and no vertical repeat, while the fine 49 threads-per-cm construction gives the surface its subtly even texture.

How to use it

Use this warm sandstone and russet colourway on outdoor seating, cushions or dining chairs, pairing it with weathered timber, tan leather and chalky stone. The restrained stripe also suits a relaxed contemporary scheme where the russet lines can echo terracotta or aged brick accents.

A warm, tailored stripe that brings russet depth to outdoor upholstery and complements natural timber, leather and stone.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Parasol Stripe Sandstone/Russet without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
