Jacopo Cognac

Jacopo Ii Fabric

Jacopo Cognac combines a deep russet-cognac ground with pale, fluid trails that drift across the surface like softly lit woodgrain. Its warm colouring and subtle sheen give the abstract design a rich, tactile presence.

About this fabric

The surface shows fine horizontal striations beneath an irregular pattern of lighter, meandering lines and softly blurred patches. Cognac, copper and rust-brown tones create a notably warm colourway, while the lighter markings catch the eye without becoming high contrast. The visible texture and depth make it well suited to upholstery, particularly where the fabric can be seen at close range. No composition, width, usage or rub-test specification is supplied for this listing.

How to use it

Pair Jacopo Cognac with walnut, smoked oak, aged brass and cream upholstery trims to emphasise its warm copper undertones. It would bring enveloping depth to a reading chair, curved sofa or upholstered bed.

Use this warm cognac colourway to bring softly glowing depth to an upholstered chair, headboard or statement sofa.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
