Zephi Copper

Zephi Fabric

Zephi Copper combines a warm copper-ter terracotta tone with a pale neutral ground in a clearly defined, undulating vertical design. Its close-up reveals a finely ridged surface that gives the colour a tactile, softly changing depth.

About this fabric

The design is formed from irregular vertical bands that narrow and widen as they move across the fabric, creating a gentle rhythm rather than a rigid stripe. Copper and terracotta threads dominate the bands, while slim pale grey-green lines sharpen their edges against the light ground. Fine vertical ribbing is visible throughout the woven surface, catching the light and making the warm colour appear deeper in the recessed lines. The structured pattern and tactile weave make this colourway well suited to upholstery where a graphic textile is wanted without a high-contrast palette.

How to use it

Use Zephi Copper on an occasional chair, headboard or compact sofa, where its warm terracotta-copper bands can sit against ivory, chalky grey and natural wood. Keep surrounding patterns quieter so the wavering vertical rhythm remains the focal point.

Pair the warm copper ground with pale neutrals, aged timber and muted stone for a softly graphic upholstery scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
