About this fabric

This colourway reads as a muted blend of warm beige, soft taupe and pale grey, rather than a flat cream. Its close, plush pile gives the surface a velvety, lightly brushed appearance, while the understated mottling adds depth without a defined motif. The visible weight and tactile pile make it best suited to upholstery, particularly relaxed seating, stools and headboards. No composition, width, rub-test or other performance specification is supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Shornsheepskin Buff on a deep occasional chair, ottoman or upholstered headboard where its warm buff tone can soften darker wood, stone and neutral schemes. Pair it with oatmeal, putty and muted brown textiles for a calm, tactile room.

A softly mottled, short-pile surface that brings warm tactile depth to upholstered seating and headboards.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
