About this fabric

The close, nubby texture gives this charcoal colourway a softly mottled appearance rather than a flat solid finish. Its cool grey tone deepens in the recessed folds, while raised areas catch the light with a restrained silvery lift. The substantial-looking cloth and tactile surface make it especially suited to upholstered pieces where the charcoal shade can provide a calm, tailored foundation.

How to use it

Use Allegra Charcoal on a sofa, armchair or headboard to bring a cool, grounded depth to the room. Pair its charcoal-grey tone with pale stone, smoked oak or brushed metal so the fine surface texture remains visible.

A deep charcoal ground and fine nubby texture give upholstery a quietly tailored, tactile finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
