Firepit Flame | Outdoor Velvet

Misc Velvet

Firepit Flame is a richly saturated burnt-orange velvet, shown here in generous folds that reveal a soft, plush nap. The warm shade shifts towards amber where the light catches the raised surface, while deeper rust tones settle in the creases.

About this fabric

This is an Outdoor Velvet with a dense-looking, tactile surface and a luxurious depth of colour. Its plain field is enlivened by the way the pile reflects light, moving from vivid burnt orange across the broad face to darker copper-rust in the folded areas. The close-up shows a softly brushed texture rather than a printed motif, making the colour and changing sheen the defining features. Deep creases and broad highlights give this colourway a dramatic, enveloping character.

How to use it

Use this warm burnt-orange colourway to bring a glowing, earthy accent to a chair, sofa or upholstered headboard. Pair it with aged brass, dark timber and olive or tobacco tones to echo the amber and rust shading visible in the pile.

A richly warm velvet for statement seating, cushions and occasional upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
