Misc Velvet

Firepit Paradise is shown here as a richly saturated turquoise-teal velvet, gathered into sweeping folds that reveal its luminous surface. The colour shifts from deep teal in the shadows to brighter aqua where the pile catches the light.

About this fabric

This colourway has a plain velvet face with a soft, dense-looking nap and a fluid sheen across the draped swatch. Its intense turquoise-teal tone feels cool, vivid and jewel-like, while the folded areas add darker depth and movement. The smooth surface reflects light in broad highlights rather than a patterned motif, giving the fabric a polished, luxurious presence. Supplied as an outdoor velvet, it is suited to upholstery projects where strong colour and tactile richness are wanted.

How to use it

Pair this vivid turquoise-teal with warm timber, natural stone or sandy neutrals to temper its saturation. It would make a striking statement on a compact chair, bench or occasional cushion in a light-filled room or covered outdoor setting.

Use this luminous teal velvet to bring saturated colour and tactile depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
