About this fabric

Against its vivid turquoise-teal ground, the design sets black, white and grey zebras and spotted big cats among curling foliage, birds, insects and jewel-like forms. The 57 cm vertical and 35 cm horizontal repeat gives the densely populated arrangement a clear, large-scale presence. At 340 gsm, this velvet has a substantial specification for upholstery, with a 138 cm usable width and a stated 40 m standard length.

How to use it

Use this cool, saturated teal on a statement chair, headboard or sofa where its monochrome zebras and leopards can take centre stage. Echo the black, white and grey detailing with plain cushions or contrasting dark timber for a composed maximalist scheme.

Use this saturated teal velvet to bring maximalist character and graphic black-and-white contrast to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
