Lemur Navy

Animalia Fabrics FabricCCF0284-03

Lemur Navy sets Emma Shipley’s fantastical animal scene against a cool, deep navy ground streaked with charcoal brush-like marks. Saturated teal foliage, pale blue leaves and silver-white lemur markings give the design a vivid, moonlit depth.

About this fabric

The detailed scene features two wide-eyed, spotted lemurs among oversized tropical leaves, curling tails, a small yellow butterfly and fine botanical tendrils. Teal and turquoise foliage glows against the navy background, while pale blue-grey leaves and white highlights pick out the illustration’s intricate linework. At 222gsm, with a 137cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight for both upholstery and drapery. The design has a 55cm vertical repeat and 46cm horizontal repeat, and is supplied in a standard 40m length.

How to use it

Pair Lemur Navy with charcoal, smoky grey and brushed metal for a cool, atmospheric scheme, or draw out its vivid teal leaves with deep green accents. Its large repeat is especially effective on a statement chair, curtain or feature cushion where the lemurs and foliage can remain visible.

Use the cool navy ground to bring depth to statement upholstery, curtains or occasional feature pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
