Rousseau Eggshell sets an intricate menagerie of birds, a monkey, a small blue animal and curling botanical branches against a pale eggshell ground. Teal and turquoise foliage give the colourway a cool, vivid base, enlivened by coral pink, sapphire blue and golden yellow accents.

About this fabric

The design is densely illustrated with winding blue-green branches, pointed leaves, curling tendrils and finely detailed animals, including a central blue-and-pink bird and a pink striped creature at the upper right. Its eggshell background keeps the composition light, while saturated turquoise, deep teal, coral pink, yellow and black linework create strong colour depth. At 222gsm, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery applications. The 137cm usable width and 68.5cm vertical by 34.5cm horizontal pattern repeat should be considered when positioning the continuous branching design.

How to use it

Pair Rousseau Eggshell with warm timber, rattan or painted furniture so the cool eggshell and teal tones remain fresh, then pick up its coral pink and gold details in cushions or painted accents.

Use the pale eggshell ground to balance the vivid teal, turquoise, pink and gold botanical details in eclectic or richly layered interiors.
