About this fabric

The navy background is filled with tonal blue markings, giving the design a shadowed, almost nocturnal quality rather than a flat block colour. Pale blue and white tiger stripes stand out crisply, while the curling figures and circular embellishments create movement across the cloth. At 222 gsm and 137 cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric for upholstery and drapery applications. The 55.5 cm vertical repeat and 46 cm horizontal repeat should be considered when positioning the large illustrated motifs, with a standard length of 40 m supplied.

How to use it

Pair Tigris Navy with soft chalk, smoky grey or washed timber so its cool ink-blue ground remains the focal point. Use it on a statement chair, accent cushions or curtains where the striped animals can be seen clearly.

Use the cool navy ground to bring depth to statement upholstery, cushions or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
