Animalia Fabrics FabricCCF0314-04

Tigris Teal places curling black-and-white striped tigers against a vivid turquoise ground mottled with darker teal markings. The cool, saturated colour gives the illustrated animal design an especially energetic depth.

About this fabric

The 222gsm cloth has a versatile mid-weight presence, making it suitable for both upholstery and drapery applications. Its 137 cm usable width gives the large tiger figures room to read clearly across a furnishing or window treatment. The pattern repeats every 55.5 cm vertically and 46 cm horizontally, so the curled tails and striped bodies create a strongly directional rhythm. A standard length of 40 m supports larger decorating schemes in this striking teal colourway.

How to use it

Use Tigris Teal to bring a cool, saturated turquoise accent to a reading chair, headboard or full-length curtains. Balance the vivid ground with warm ivory, charcoal and natural timber so the black-and-white tigers remain the focus.

Pair the vivid teal ground with ivory, charcoal or natural wood for a lively, sophisticated scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
