About this fabric

This 417gsm velvet is a substantial upholstery choice, with a 134cm usable width for working across larger furniture panels. The colourway is distinctly cool and saturated: bright peacock turquoise forms the ground, while navy and petrol-blue details anchor the ivory, spotted winged horses and ornamental lyres. Its large 42.5cm vertical by 67cm horizontal repeat makes the mirrored composition highly visible on a chair, headboard or sofa. The velvet surface gives the intense turquoise artwork a rich, deep appearance rather than a flat printed look.

How to use it

Use Peacock velvet where its vivid turquoise can become the room’s focal colour, such as a statement armchair, banquette or occasional sofa. Echo the navy outlines in painted timber or cushions, and soften the ivory horse motifs with warm neutral walls.
