About this fabric

This 417gsm velvet has the substantial visual presence expected of a statement upholstery cloth. Periwinkle blue dominates the ground, reading cool and clear beside deep navy, vivid magenta, burgundy, cream and touches of warm pink. The large 42.5cm vertical by 67cm horizontal repeat builds a highly ordered fantasy scene, with winged forms, spotted animal figures, curling foliage and miniature ornamental structures mirrored across the design. Its 134cm usable width gives the detailed pattern useful coverage, while the supplied standard length is 40m.

How to use it

Use this cool periwinkle colourway on a feature armchair, headboard or compact sofa where its saturated blue can anchor a room without relying on warm neutrals. Pair it with deep navy, berry tones and aged brass to draw out the motif’s darker and jewel-toned accents.
