Paradise Lost Ink
Mythica Fabrics FabricCCF0829-03
Paradise Lost Ink presents a densely illustrated white ground in cool ink blue, filled with spotted big cats, elephants, palms, birds and curling botanical forms. The detailed scene reads as a layered chinoiserie-inspired narrative rather than a simple repeat.

About this fabric
The swatch is covered with finely drawn ink-blue imagery, including leopards, elephants, peacocks, palm trees, serpents, birds and expressive eye-like botanical details. Its crisp white ground gives the cool blue artwork plenty of contrast, while the varied line weights create depth across the busy composition. With a supplied weight of 286 gsm, this is a substantial mid-weight textile suitable for both upholstery and drapery. It has a 137 cm usable width, a 63.5 cm vertical repeat and a 137 cm horizontal repeat, allowing the full-width illustrated arrangement to be considered when positioning the design.
How to use it
Use Paradise Lost Ink where its cool white-and-ink palette can act as a graphic focal point, such as on an occasional chair, ottoman or full-length curtain. Pair it with quiet white, navy or pale blue plains so the animals and dense botanical details remain legible.
Use the cool ink-and-white ground to bring illustrated depth to upholstery, curtains or blinds.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Paradise Lost Ink without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
