About this fabric

The colourway reads predominantly as deep teal and blue-green, with brighter turquoise foliage, muted olive accents, cream animal markings and fine charcoal detailing. Mirrored spotted cats sit among plumes, leaves, paisley curls and central ornamental emblems, giving the repeat a strongly symmetrical, maximalist character. At 412gsm, this is a substantial textile suited to upholstery, with a 137cm usable width. Its pattern repeats every 47cm vertically and 68.5cm horizontally, so the large motif should be considered carefully when planning cushions, chairs or larger upholstered pieces.

How to use it

Use the cool, saturated teal ground as the statement colour on an accent chair, headboard or sofa, then pick out its olive, cream and charcoal details in plain cushions and painted joinery. The ornate repeat works especially well against restrained dark wood or warm neutral surroundings.

Use this richly detailed teal colourway on statement upholstery, balancing its ornate pattern with quiet olive, charcoal and cream furnishings.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Odyssey Mythos Jacquard Olive without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
