About this fabric

The swatch shows a single, uninterrupted orange field with no printed motif, reading as a deep burnt orange rather than a bright tangerine. Catalogued as velvet, it has a close, softly lustrous pile whose shading changes subtly across the surface. The darker and lighter areas give the colour a little visual depth while keeping the overall effect rich and enveloping. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this warm orange on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard, pairing it with aged timber, tobacco leather, creamy neutrals or deep red accents. Its saturated tone works especially well where a room needs a confident, autumnal focal point.

Use this richly coloured velvet to bring warmth and tactile depth to upholstered seating or occasional chairs.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
