About this fabric

The dense, fur-like pile gives this fabric a highly tactile appearance, while the irregular tonal variation prevents the charcoal shade from reading as flat. Close inspection shows fine, soft fibres running in changing directions across the surface, creating gentle shifts from silvered grey to near-charcoal. The supplied record notes no performance features or further specification data for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Hoxton Smoke on a statement armchair, ottoman or deeply padded headboard where its dark grey tone and plush pile can provide a cosy, enveloping accent. Pair it with pale stone walls, brushed metal or warm timber to balance its depth.

Use this deep, smoky grey pile to bring plush texture and a darker, cocooning mood to upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
