About this fabric

This 416gsm velvet has a substantial presence suited to upholstery, while its 127cm usable width supports efficient cutting on larger pieces. The surface is visibly mottled, with broken pale-silver patches layered over a charcoal steel-grey base rather than a regular geometric motif. A 61.8cm vertical repeat and 127cm horizontal repeat define the placement of this softly distressed pattern. With 146.5 threads per cm, the close surface texture gives the grey-and-silver colouring a dense, shaded appearance.

How to use it

Use this cool steel-grey colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard, pairing it with brushed metal, smoked timber and pale stone to draw out the silver highlights. Its muted depth also works well against warm neutrals that soften the cooler cast.
