Fitzroy Grey Fabric

Misc Fabric

Fitzroy Grey pairs a pale stone-grey ground with a tightly repeating pattern of charcoal-brown angular forms. The contrast gives the colourway a cool, graphic presence while the visible weave keeps the surface tactile.

About this fabric

The design is built from interlocking diamonds, chevrons and forked geometric shapes, creating a regular rhythm across the fabric. Its dark charcoal-brown lines have a softened, slightly irregular woven edge rather than a sharp printed finish. Against the light stone-grey background, the pattern feels architectural without becoming harsh or overly stark. No performance features have been noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Bring Fitzroy Grey into a room with pale timber, chalky walls or dark metal accents, using its charcoal geometry on a tailored chair or sofa and repeating the stone-grey ground in curtains or cushions.

Use the cool stone-grey ground and charcoal geometry for tailored seating, cushions or coordinated curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Fitzroy Grey Fabric without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
