About this fabric

This dense, structured weave is led by a dark Malbec red, punctuated by olive-green, charcoal and brown geometric accents. Repeating stepped diamonds, angular arrows and triangular forms create a rhythmic pattern across the cloth, while the horizontal weave gives the surface a subtly striated finish. In the central band, the red becomes broader and more tonal, making the colourway feel deep and cocooning rather than bright. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Mendoza Malbec on an occasional chair, upholstered bench or statement cushion where its deep red can anchor a room. Balance the pattern with olive textiles, dark wood and warm, aged-metal details.

Pair the deep Malbec ground with dark timber, olive accents and aged brass for a richly earthy scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
