About this fabric

This colourway reads as a warm, brown-leaning red rather than a bright crimson, giving the small all-over design a grounded, intimate mood. Fine ochre-gold flowers and winding lines remain visible across the surface, while the dense repeat creates gentle visual texture without a large dominant motif. No performance features are noted for this catalogued Fabric.

How to use it

Use the mahogany tone to deepen a reading room, dining seat or layered window treatment, pairing it with tobacco, aged brass, warm cream or dark timber. Its small gold sprigs can add pattern without overwhelming compact upholstered pieces.

The warm mahogany ground and fine muted-gold sprigs bring intimate, patterned richness to upholstery or drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
