About this fabric

The design combines repeating diamonds, stepped zigzags, small crosses and stylised floral forms in a compact all-over arrangement. Deep teal gives the colourway a cool, grounded base, while rust red and ochre introduce warmth and the cream details lift the pattern. The close-up image shows a substantial-looking weave with softly irregular edges to the motifs, giving the surface a crafted rather than printed appearance. Its strong repeat and textured visual weight make this colourway particularly suited to upholstery where a bold, collected look is wanted.

How to use it

Use Safi Multi on an occasional chair, footstool or statement bench, pairing its deep teal ground with warm timber, tan leather and muted cream walls. Rust and ochre accents will draw out the warmer details without competing with the dense geometric repeat.

A richly patterned woven textile for upholstery that needs colour, rhythm and a strong graphic presence.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
