Riverbank Chalk Fabric | Small Scale Ikat Fabric

Misc Fabric

Riverbank Chalk has a softly luminous chalk-ivory ground, with a tiny tonal ikat pattern emerging gently across the surface. In the photograph, the pale colour remains calm and nearly monochromatic even through the fabric’s layered folds.

About this fabric

The small geometric motif is picked out in barely darker ivory, giving the cloth a restrained ikat character rather than a high-contrast pattern. Its subtly textured face catches the light across the creases, while the draped folds show a cloth with enough body to hold gentle ridges and soft gathers. No composition, width, rub-test or performance-feature data has been supplied for this exact colourway.

How to use it

Pair Riverbank Chalk with warm white, limestone and pale natural timber for a quiet, light-filled scheme. Its cool ivory tone also works as a softly patterned layer alongside taupe upholstery or oatmeal curtains.

Use this pale chalk ivory colourway to bring a quiet, lightly patterned finish to upholstery, cushions or softly gathered curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Riverbank Chalk Fabric | Small Scale Ikat Fabric without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
