Misc Fabric

Riverbank Lobster brings a close, rhythmic ikat to the swatch in a warm lobster-rust tone. Fine pale marks break up the coral ground, giving the small-scale geometry a softly mottled, woven appearance.

About this fabric

Riverbank Lobster is built from a dense field of tiny, repeated ikat diamonds and zigzag forms, rather than a large-scale motif. Its lobster colouring reads as a muted, warm coral-rust, with pale threads picking out the pattern and giving the surface softly mottled depth. No composition, width, rub test or performance features were supplied for this fabric, so those specifications should be confirmed before ordering.

How to use it

Use the warm lobster-rust ground to add depth to an otherwise neutral scheme, pairing it with chalk, oatmeal or dark timber tones. Its compact geometry can suit a smaller upholstered piece or bring a repeated woven texture to drapery.

A warm lobster-rust ikat that brings fine geometric rhythm to neutral upholstery or drapery schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Riverbank Lobster Fabric | Small Scale Ikat Fabric without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
