About this fabric

The fine vertical rib gives the surface a quiet texture without introducing a visible motif or pattern. Its fluid folds and lightweight-looking handle make this colourway particularly suited to drapery and softly gathered curtains. No composition, width, rub test or performance feature is supplied for this fabric, so its suitability should be assessed against the requirements of the intended project.

How to use it

Use Villandry Powder at a bright window with chalky whites, pale woods and cool grey-blue accents. Its subdued powder tone will bring a calm, airy quality to curtains without dominating the room.

Use this softly muted powder blue for fluid curtains or relaxed window treatments where its fine ribbed surface can catch the light.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
