Black Edition

Kivuli Caspian

Kivuli Caspian reads as a cool, smoky blue-grey textile with a fluid drape and a fine angular line pattern. In the room setting, it gathers softly beside the window while catching the daylight with a restrained sheen.

About this fabric

The curtain surface combines muted blue-grey depth with intersecting charcoal lines that form an irregular geometric lattice. Its supple appearance and long gathered folds make the fabric particularly suited to drapery rather than structured upholstery. The colour stays cool and softly atmospheric in the light, balancing the deeper patterned wall behind it without competing with the room’s warmer brown and rust tones. Catalogued as a fabric, this colourway is shown here in a full-length window treatment.

How to use it

Pair this cool blue-grey with pale flooring, warm timber and rust or tobacco accents to keep the room balanced. The angular pattern works especially well when allowed to fall in generous, softly gathered folds.

Use the cool blue-grey tone to bring a composed, lightly reflective accent to tall windows and darker interiors.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Kivuli Caspian without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
