Susa Caspian

Zkara Fabric

Susa Caspian has a pale icy blue-grey ground, softened by fine tonal mottling across its woven surface. The close-up shows delicate variation rather than a defined repeat, with a quiet glint where the light catches.

About this fabric

The colour reads cool and airy, sitting between a misted blue and a very light grey rather than becoming strongly saturated. Fine horizontal and irregular woven marks create a gently tactile, clouded appearance, while tiny pale highlights add depth across the surface. The restrained texture keeps the design subtle at a distance but gives the fabric visual interest up close. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the icy blue-grey tone to lighten upholstery, curtains or coordinating soft furnishings in a calm room. It works particularly well beside chalky whites, pale stone, cool timber and discreet metallic accents that echo its fine surface glints.

Use this cool, softly shimmering blue-grey in calm contemporary schemes with pale timber, stone or brushed metal.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
