Zkara Lead

Zkara Fabric

Zkara Lead is a deep charcoal textile patterned with irregular vertical streaks in black, graphite and pale grey. Its close, tactile surface gives the colourway a strongly directional, architectural character.

About this fabric

The near-black ground is broken by narrow, uneven bands of graphite and silvery grey, creating a layered effect across the cloth. Fine vertical marks vary in density and length, so the surface feels organic rather than mechanically striped. The visible weave adds subtle texture, while the contrast between the dark ground and lighter threads gives the fabric depth as the light moves across it. This Lead colourway reads cool, dramatic and distinctly graphic.

How to use it

Pair Zkara Lead with pale stone, smoked oak or brushed metal to balance its cool charcoal depth. It is particularly effective on statement seating where the irregular vertical texture can remain visible.

Use its deep charcoal tone and broken vertical texture to bring graphic depth to contemporary upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Zkara Lead without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
