Otoko Wallcovering Shadow

Otoko Wallcovering Shadow is a cool, muted blue-grey wallcovering animated by fine tan lines and broad, overlapping abstract forms. Its distressed crosshatched surface creates a sense of depth, with the pale marks catching the eye against the darker ground.

About this wallpaper

The design is built from irregular blocks and sweeping shapes, each filled with dense horizontal and vertical linework that gives the image a woven, architectural feel. Shadow reads as a softened blue-grey rather than a stark black, while warm beige and sandy strokes add contrast through the layered pattern. As a wallpaper from the Zafaro Wallcoverings collection, it is intended for wallcovering use; no performance features are noted in the supplied specification. The varied density of the linear marks keeps the large-scale abstract composition visually active across the surface.

How to use it

Pair this blue-grey colourway with charcoal, weathered timber and brushed metal for a cool, graphic scheme, or pick up its sandy linework with warm beige upholstery and natural stone. It is particularly effective on a feature wall where the changing direction of the pattern can be seen at full scale.

Use this cool blue-grey design to bring layered movement and graphic depth to a feature wall.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Otoko Wallcovering Shadow without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
