About this fabric

The design is made up of large, daisy-like flowers, smaller clustered blooms and curling leaves, picked out in cream, tan, brown and subdued russet against the ochre background. The warm ground reads as mellow rather than bright, while the pale flower heads create soft definition across the dense repeat. At 282gsm, this is a substantial mid-weight textile suited to both upholstery and drapery, with a useable width of 140cm. The pattern has a 75cm vertical repeat and a 70cm horizontal repeat, allowing the floral arrangement to remain clearly visible when positioned across a piece.

How to use it

Use Sunforest Ochre on a reading chair, seat cushion or relaxed curtain scheme where its golden-brown warmth can sit alongside aged timber, cream linen and darker walnut tones. The cream flowers help prevent the ochre ground from feeling heavy, while the brown foliage reinforces a traditional, collected look.
