Sunforest Peacock

Marianne Fabric FabricCCF0723-02

Sunforest Peacock brings a deep peacock-teal ground together with densely scattered blooms in charcoal, soft grey, ivory and muted taupe. The floral surface has a lightly textured textile character that gives the dark colourway depth rather than a flat, printed appearance.

About this fabric

The design is filled with large, painterly flowers and layered foliage, with pale petals standing out against the saturated teal background. Charcoal and near-black leaves deepen the pattern, while grey and ivory flowers introduce cooler highlights across the cloth. At 282gsm and 140cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suitable for upholstery and drapery. Its 75cm vertical by 70cm horizontal repeat should be considered when positioning the larger blooms, and the standard length is 40m.

How to use it

Use Sunforest Peacock on a feature chair, sofa or full-length curtains where its cool teal depth can anchor a room. Pair it with charcoal, warm ivory and brushed metal accents to pick up the monochrome flower heads without competing with the dense repeat.

Use the deep teal ground to bring depth to contemporary upholstery, curtains or relaxed botanical schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sunforest Peacock without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
