About this fabric

At 400gsm, this is a substantial textile suited to upholstery, with a 137cm usable width and a standard 40m length. The design is formed from irregular vertical and horizontal blocks, softened edges and dry-brush textures rather than a precise geometric grid. Cream and pale linen areas keep the colourway open, while taupe, muted grey and near-black charcoal strokes add depth and a slightly aged, mineral quality. The pattern repeats at 89.5cm vertically and 137cm horizontally, so the larger marks can be positioned deliberately across a chair, sofa or headboard.

How to use it

Let the cool charcoal accents anchor a larger upholstered piece, then warm the scheme with camel leather, aged oak or oat-coloured plains. The linen and taupe ground also works with soft grey walls and brushed metal details.

Use this weighty, painterly colourway on a statement chair, sofa or upholstered headboard, pairing it with warm timber and quiet neutrals.
