Allan Ocean

Allan FabricL9390-04

Allan Ocean is shown here in a soft oyster-cream tone, with a finely textured weave that reads calm and clean rather than bright. The small-scale surface pattern gives the cloth a gentle sense of movement across the full width.

About this fabric

This Allan colourway combines 66% cotton, 29% viscose and 5% linen, giving the cloth a natural-looking body with a lightly refined finish. The weave is close and textural, with narrow vertical striations that are visible in the image and keep the pale cream ground from looking flat. At approximately 150cm wide, it is a practical furnishing cloth, and the repeat of V 15cm / H 13cm approx suggests a modest patterned rhythm rather than an all-over statement. The colour sits between ivory and oyster, with a cool-soft cast that feels understated and easy to live with. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √CM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use this pale oyster tone to soften darker woods, painted joinery or a tailored scheme that needs lightening without going stark white. It would also work beautifully for relaxed curtains or a clean-lined sofa where the subtle texture can be appreciated in daylight.

A quiet oyster-cream weave that feels crisp and refined on both upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
