About this fabric

This Drago fabric by Manuel Canovas is woven in a 68% viscose, 21% linen and 11% polyester blend, giving the cloth a lightly textured, fabric-forward feel rather than a flat printed look. The repeat is a neat V 3cm / H 6cm approx, which suits the orderly vertical stripe and the small dotted detail seen in the swatch. Its base reads as a soft beige with a faint golden warmth, while the tiny blue-green motifs add a cool, fresh note that stops the colourway feeling too heavy. At 138cm approx wide, it is a practical cloth for both curtains and upholstery projects where a restrained but characterful stripe is wanted.

How to use it

This colourway works well in rooms that lean natural and unfussy, especially with oak, rattan and painted joinery in off-white or sage. The beige ground and cool dotted accents also make it an easy partner for ticking stripes, checks and plain linens.

Use it for a calm, country-inspired scheme with crisp linens, pale woods and muted green accents.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Punto Prairie without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
