Lazare Taupe

Lazare FabricM4131-05

Lazare Taupe is a quietly luminous silk with a smooth, lightly slubbed surface and a muted sandy-beige taupe cast. The cloth reads calm and refined, with a gentle natural variation that catches the light without becoming shiny.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% silk and measuring approx. 138cm wide, Lazare Taupe has no visible repeat, allowing the cloth itself to do the work. In this colourway the surface sits between warm beige and softened mushroom taupe, with a dry, elegant sheen rather than a glossy finish. The fine irregularities in the weave give it a subtle textural depth that feels artisanal and not overly polished. It is a smart, decorative silk suited to calm schemes where tone and handle matter as much as pattern. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use it for full-length curtains, relaxed interlined drapes or pared-back Roman blinds where the soft taupe can glow in natural light. It pairs especially well with chalky plaster, weathered oak and deeper brown or charcoal accents.

A softly luminous silk for understated, tailored rooms.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
