About this fabric

Woven in 77% linen and 23% cotton, this fabric has the dry, natural character you expect from a linen-rich cloth, while the cotton helps soften the handle. The stripe layout repeats vertically every 22cm approx and horizontally every 45cm approx, creating a measured, decorative rhythm rather than a bold statement. Here the base reads as warm linen cream, with slim rust, black and pale ivory lines that keep the design airy and easy to place. At 135cm approx wide, it suits curtains, cushions and lighter upholstery projects where you want the stripe to stay neat and refined. Care code Q 8 + W 3 and fire code Z are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

This warm cream colourway works well in relaxed interiors with timber, rattan and chalky paint finishes, where the fine stripe can add quiet structure. It also lifts darker upholstery shapes by bringing in just enough rust and black contrast without overpowering the room.

Pair with oak, russet and charcoal accents to let the fine vertical stripe read crisp and tailored.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Mambo Linen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
