Ashbury Wallpaper Yellow

Small Design W/Papers Wallpaper07982-04

Ashbury Wallpaper Yellow sets a softly warm, pale yellow ground against fine white curling botanical sprays. Faint grey stems give the close-set pattern a lightly drawn quality, while the surface reads quiet and matte in the swatch.

About this fabric

This colourway is made from 100% paper and has an approximate repeat of 20cm vertically by 18cm horizontally. The yellow is restrained and creamy rather than bright, with white feathery motifs and slim cool-grey stems creating gentle contrast. The repeating sprigs meander upright across the sample, giving the small-scale design a delicate, evenly distributed rhythm. Its pale ground keeps the overall impression light while the grey linework adds definition to the wallpaper pattern.

How to use it

Use this warm, pale yellow ground in a bedroom, dressing room or softly layered sitting room, where the white sprigs can sit alongside ivory, chalk and muted grey accents. It would also brighten a darker scheme without introducing a saturated yellow.

Use this pale yellow wallpaper to bring a softly botanical, lightly patterned finish to a calm interior.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
