The Good China
Blues Paint
The Good China is a pale blue from Coat Paints with a clear, restful feel. It sits in the Blues range, but the grey in the colour keeps it soft rather than bright.

About this colour
This shade reads as a light blue with a cool, slightly muted edge, and the grey note helps it feel calm on the wall rather than sugary. In north-facing light it can look a touch cooler and more silvery, with the palest hint of green coming through. In south-facing rooms it lifts more openly and feels fresher, while still staying gentle. Flat Matt will give it the quietest wall finish, while Eggshell or Soft Sheen will make it work neatly on woodwork beside linen, wicker, pale oak, or upholstered pieces in washed blues and soft neutrals.
How to use it
Use it in bedrooms, studies, or a sitting room where you want a light, settled blue around curtains in oatmeal, stone, or soft stripe. It also suits painted joinery beside natural wood, chalky whites, and upholstery in dove grey or faded indigo.
On a wall, this colour stays light, cool, and easy to live with.
