Bombay Nights Green

Fabrics Fabric70

Bombay Nights Green presents an ivory-beige textile ground crossed by irregular olive and charcoal-green lines. The softly textured face gives the abstract pattern a tactile, slightly raised appearance.

About this fabric

The warm ivory base keeps this colourway light, while the dark green-grey tracery creates clear contrast without appearing stark. Its wandering bands form loose, broken shapes across the swatch, with rounded turns and angular intersections that make the pattern feel drawn rather than rigidly geometric. A fine, even surface texture is visible beneath the motif, and the darker yarn catches the light with a subtly nubby edge. The overall effect is calm but graphic, with the depth coming from the contrast between the pale ground and muted olive lines.

How to use it

Use this colourway to add pattern to an ivory, stone or warm grey scheme, where its olive-green lines can connect easily with timber, aged metal and deeper green accents. It would bring measured movement to a tailored chair, occasional upholstery or softly structured curtains.

A warm ivory base and meandering olive-green lines bring graphic movement to upholstery, cushions or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bombay Nights Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
