Botanical Seafoam

Fabrics Fabric80

Botanical Seafoam combines a deep, cool seafoam-teal ground with dense ivory marks that branch and scatter across the surface. The close pattern has an animated, tactile appearance rather than a flat printed look.

About this fabric

The swatch shows a richly saturated blue-green ground overlaid with tightly packed ivory botanical forms, creating strong tonal contrast without a sharp geometric repeat. The irregular marks vary in size and direction, giving the textile a layered, almost hand-drawn character. Its visibly substantial, textured surface makes it read most naturally as an upholstery fabric. No composition, width, rub-test or other technical specification is supplied for this colourway, and no performance features are noted.

How to use it

Use this deep teal colourway on a statement armchair, occasional chair or compact sofa where its ivory tracery can provide pattern and depth. Balance it with chalky neutrals, pale timber and muted brass rather than similarly saturated blue-greens.

Pair the deep teal ground and ivory marks with warm timber, natural linen and softly textured upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
