Raw Purple is a richly layered textile in which deep berry-purple grounds are crossed by blue and burgundy markings. Its irregular linear texture gives the surface a softly distressed, tactile character.

About this fabric

The colour reads as a dark, cool purple with flashes of blue and wine-red woven through its surface. Fine horizontal and vertical marks form an uneven abstract grid, creating depth without a defined figurative motif. Subtle changes in light reveal the contrast between the darker purple ground and the cooler blue threads. The visible dense weave makes this fabric particularly suited to upholstery applications.

How to use it

Use Raw Purple on a statement armchair, ottoman or compact sofa where its cool berry depth can anchor a room. Pair it with charcoal, aged timber and muted blue accents to bring out the blue-violet threads.

A richly textured purple weave that brings moody depth to upholstered furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
