About this fabric

The close basket-like weave creates a small-scale, tactile grid across the cloth, with subtle shifts between russet, terracotta and brown. Ruggine is a saturated yet softened shade, reading warm and grounded rather than bright or orange. The dense-looking construction gives the swatch a visually sturdy character suited to upholstery. No performance features are noted for this colourway.

How to use it

Pair this warm rust terracotta with natural timber, tobacco leather or soft cream upholstery for an earthy, layered scheme. It can add concentrated colour to a chair, bench or cushion without relying on a large pattern.

Use the warm rust tone to bring earthy depth to upholstered seating and occasional pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
