Rococò Rouge Marinière

Indoor/outdoor fabrics Outdoor002

Rococò Rouge Marinière combines a deep crimson ground with closely packed cream-white flecks in a visibly tactile, irregular weave. The small-scale surface gives the colourway a lively, softly mottled depth rather than a flat red finish.

About this fabric

Catalogued as Outdoor, Rococò Rouge Marinière is part of Dedar’s Indoor/outdoor fabrics collection. In the close-up, crimson-red yarns are interspersed with pale cream and white loops, creating a compact, nubby texture with a subtly broken rhythm. The uneven weave softens the intensity of the red, while the pale fibres catch the light across the surface. Its dense woven appearance makes it particularly well suited to outdoor upholstery where a richly textured, relaxed finish is wanted.

How to use it

Use the muted crimson tone on outdoor seat cushions, dining chairs or a relaxed bench, balancing it with warm timber, natural stone and pale neutral cushions. Cream accessories will pick up the light flecks in the weave without competing with its red depth.

Use this richly textured red-and-cream outdoor textile to bring warmth and tactile depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
