Short-cuts Quasi Nero

Jacquard fabrics Fabric004

Short-cuts Quasi Nero brings together near-black and warm ivory stripes in a tightly arranged geometric repeat. The angled panels create a strong, architectural surface, while the woven construction softens the contrast with subtle texture.

About this fabric

This Dedar jacquard is formed from broad, irregular panels of narrow black-and-ivory stripes, with each section changing direction to build a layered, interlocking effect. The Nero colourway reads deep and graphic rather than colourful, with the ivory lines lifting the near-black ground and defining the pattern clearly. Its substantial-looking woven surface and large repeat make it particularly convincing on tailored upholstery, where the directional geometry can be shown across broad forms. No composition, width or rub-test specification has been supplied for this fabric, and no performance features are noted.

How to use it

Pair the black-and-ivory colourway with charcoal, warm white or pale timber for a crisp, considered scheme. It works especially well on a clean-lined armchair, bench or sofa where the changing stripe directions remain visible.

Use the high-contrast geometric repeat to bring tailored definition to sofas, armchairs or occasional upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
