About this fabric

Supplied as a Fabric from Dedar’s Satin fabrics collection, this colourway combines a fine-looking silver-grey ground with an ivory-toned central area. Slender, irregular gold and ochre marks rise in vertical, branching formations, creating a rhythmic ikat-like pattern rather than a regular repeat. The grey reads cool and restrained, while the warm gold brings concentrated flashes of colour through the centre of the design. Its sleek satin appearance and refined contrast make it particularly suited to drapery where the vertical pattern can be shown at full length.

How to use it

Use this cool grey and ivory colourway for full-length curtains in a calm, contemporary room, then pick up the ochre-gold accents with brass lighting or warm timber. Its vertical motif can also add a sense of height to a narrow window.

A cool silver-grey satin with warm ochre-gold vertical motifs, especially effective for elegant curtains and soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
